Welcome!

Welcome to Xtreme Kidz, the elementary Children's Ministry of Bethesda Community Church! Our desire is that children get introduced to Jesus, learn how to hear His voice and how to follow His steps. Through age-appropriate teaching, exciting worship and games, we strive to provide a safe and fun environment where kids will want to return week after week.

Matthew 22:37 states, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." With this verse as their motto, children can take a stand for Christ even when others don't. They can live a life of extreme faith for Jesus!

Check in

The safety of children attending Xtreme Kidz is a focus of our attention. The Xtreme Kidz area is locked at all times. Members are given an identification card which when scanned at the door allows them in the area. Guests are ushered into the children's area and introduced to our check in system.

The check in system is used for preschool and elementary children and is easy to use. Members may use their ID card to access the names of the children they are checking in, or they may use one of the 4 touch screen monitors. Whichever method is used, once the child's name is selected a name badge is printed and the child can enter the designated room for their age group. Please contact the children's department if your ID card does not work properly.

Staff is available at each of the three visitor stations to assist our guests with the check in process.

Family Worship Sunday

To allow children the opportunity to visit the adult service with parents, we have Family Worship Day on the 5th Sunday of each month with 5 Sundays. No Kids Church (1st-5th grades) or POND (4 year old-kindergarten) is offered on these Sundays. Nursery is open for birth - 3 year olds.
